Purchasing WeighStreamPOS grants the customer a software license to use the application according to the purchased plan.

Protean Applications does not process or store payment card information.
WeighStreamPOS is designed to work with supported Android devices and compatible digital scales.
Protean Applications cannot guarantee compatibility with all hardware devices, Android versions, or third-party accessories.
Customers are responsible for ensuring their hardware meets the requirements necessary to operate the software.
WeighStreamPOS may provide tools for calculating product pricing, taxes, and totals. However, tax laws and regulations vary by jurisdiction.
It is the responsibility of the business using the software to ensure that tax calculations and financial reporting comply with applicable laws.
Protean Applications is not responsible for incorrect tax collection, reporting errors, or regulatory compliance.
Most operational data within WeighStreamPOS, including inventory, product information, and sales records, is stored locally on the device running the application.
Users are responsible for maintaining backups and protecting access to their device.
Protean Applications is not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, accidental deletion, theft, or other circumstances.

Protean Applications does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of online services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Protean Applications shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use WeighStreamPOS.
This includes but is not limited to loss of revenue, loss of business, or loss of stored data.
Refunds may be offered at the discretion of Protean Applications. Customers experiencing technical issues should contact support so that we can attempt to resolve the issue.
Protean Applications may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with the updated revision date.
